28.600€ and 12.000€ raised through Sodexo Lunch Passes

Since July 2009, Sodexo and Caritas Luxembourg have joined forces to help families in need in Luxembourg. A total of €263,271 has been raised to date.

On June 16, 2022, Sylvie Favaut, Director of Sodexo Benefits and Rewards Services Luxembourg and Aurore Kremer, Marketing Manager, had the pleasure of giving a symbolic cheque for €28,600.51 to Tom Brassel, Operational Director and Caroline Theves, Donor and Partner Relations Manager to close the 2021/2022 campaign. The Caritas representatives warmly thanked Sodexo and all the people who donated one or more of their Lunch Passes so that needy families can have a balanced diet through the Caritas Buttek social grocery shops.

The 2022 campaign will be launched on 1 July. As every year, employees of Sodexo's client companies will find a flyer in their lunch voucher envelope explaining the action as well as a pre-stamped envelope addressed to Caritas Luxembourg allowing them to return their Lunch Pass donations.

Beneficiaries of Sodexo Lunch Pass cards will also be able to make donations by paying directly with their card on the Caritas website.

In addition to this annual action, an additional collection was organised this year to support Caritas actions in aid of the Ukrainian people. Nearly €12,000 was collected.

In these complicated times of crisis, families in need can continue to count on the generous beneficiaries of Lunch Pass Sodexo.
