Official opening of CollecDiff in Differdange

Following a request for proposals at the end of 2020 from the city of Differdange and its Social Office, the streetwork project proposed by Caritas Luxembourg around the Gerlache park and in the city center was selected as the most suitable for the needs of the town. Yesterday, the new premises of CollecDiff were officially inaugurated.

The CollecDiff project is aimed at young people in social decline who frequent the park to satisfy their addictions, as well as at visitors to the park, local residents and shopkeepers in the vicinity, to involve them in a joint search for lasting solutions to improve mutual respect between park users.

The challenges are numerous but the Caritas Luxembourg team is tenacious. Caritas Luxembourg will propose, in collaboration with the young people, leisure, sports, cultural and educational activities that correspond to them and prevent them from drifting socially. The team of workers also wants to listen to everyone: young people, residents, visitors and shopkeepers to identify their needs and put in place the appropriate answers.

Do not be shy and come in! Their premises are located at the Avenue de la Liberté or talk directly to the streetworkers in the city center of Differdange.
