Quinzaine de la Bientraitance

From 16 to 30 May, Caritas Luxembourg and Caritas Jeunes et Familles are organizing the "Quinzaine de la Bientraitance". This fortnight is the opportunity to highlight this essential theme in our work and to reflect together, as a team and with our stakeholders, on what compassionate care means to each of us.

For Caritas Luxembourg, this is the first edition of this fortnight, whereas Caritas Jeunes et Familles already organised a fortnight last year. By organising this fortnight, both organisations want to show the importance they attach to this theme in their relations with their stakeholders. The Quinzaine de la Bientraitance is thus part of a process of making people responsible and exchanging good practices.

Moreover, both organisations are members of the Bientraitance scheme set up with other organisations. This scheme includes compulsory training for all employees to raise awareness of the importance of compassionate care and prevent abuse f, the appointment of a representative responsible for promoting compassionate care and preventing abuse, as well as informing, advising and training in these areas, the creation of an external contact point for the organisations, etc.
