Donations paid to the Fondation Caritas Luxembourg are deductible from taxable income within the limits of Articles 109 and 112 of the L.I.R. In order to benefit from the tax deduction, the cumulative amount of donations paid to various organisations during the year must amount to a minimum of 120 euros, not exceeding 20% of the total income, nor 1,000,000 euros.
In order to respect the financial resources entrusted to Caritas Luxembourg and to save paper, a tax certificate is issued only once a year in January. This includes donations made during the previous year. However, an acknowledgement of receipt can be sent for each donation by contacting us at +352 40 21 21 31 263 or by email at email@example.com

Caritas Luxembourg has adhered to the Code of Good Practice for Organisations Appealing to the Generosity of the Public, which it has initiated with other associations, and is a member of the non-profit organisation Don en Confiance Luxembourg, created on 18 January 2011.
Caritas Luxembourg uses a small portion of the funds it receives to cover its operating and fundraising costs. At least 85% of the amount of donations received are allocated to projects and activities for people in distress.
Donations collected through fundraising campaigns are used in all projects of Caritas Luxembourg.
