for the 10th anniversary of the collapse of the Rana Plaza

On the occasion of the commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the collapse of the Rana Plaza in Bangladesh, Caritas Luxembourg and the NGO Fairtrade Lëtzebuerg, in the framework of the campaign "Rethink Your Clothes" mandated by the Luxembourg Cooperation, are organising a symbolic artistic event, aiming at informing and sensitising citizens on the humanly deplorable conditions in which our clothes are manufactured as well as on our irresponsible way of consuming them.
This artistic performance will showcase the different actors in the production chain of our clothes. Dancers and volunteers will playfully evoke the dysfunctions of this textile industry, from the inhuman working conditions in some developing countries to the over-consumption for which we are responsible.
Caritas Luxembourg and the NGO Fairtrade Lëtzebuerg warmly invite you to join us for this unique event:
