Form'actif helps young people with respect to their educational and professional choices.

Form'actif offers concrete assistance with the administrative steps and problems that young refugees and migrants may encounter in terms of their choice of courses at school, career guidance and training.

Advice and guidance

Form'actif:

• Gives information on the steps that need to be taken, the training bodies, the available training courses and the job market
• Works with the young person to prepare documents for enrolment in a high school or university
• Helps the young person to find an employer for their apprenticeship
• Makes parents aware of the importance of training courses and apprenticeships
• Supports the young person with all other problems.

The 5th integration classes for adults (former "Classes Passerelles")

Form'actif, in collaboration with the adult education department of the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth, runs the 5th year integration classes for adults. These classes now include the "Classes Passerellles" that Caritas Luxembourg had set up so that young refugees and migrants who no longer enter compulsory schooling or who are excluded from the traditional system have the opportunity to be trained. Today, these students are finally recognised and supported by the Ministry, through the 5th year integration classes for adults. About ten classes are in place in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
