Internships

Caritas Luxembourg gives you the opportunity to take your first steps in your professional life, with attractive work internships offering motivating prospects.

Please note that in view of the large number of internship applications we receive and our inability to respond favourably to all requests, we have adopted a few basic principles:

• Priority is given to compulsory internships lasting at least 4 weeks.
• Caritas Luxembourg offers a certain number of places each year for compulsory internships as part of studies leading to a social profession (educator, social worker, etc.). Applications should be sent to candidature@caritas.lu with a covering letter and CV at least 3 months before the start of the placement.
• Applications for compulsory internships as part of studies for a profession other than social work (administration, management, etc.) can be made at any time during the year. However, priority is given to members of our staff's families. If you do not receive a reply from Caritas Luxembourg within six weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
• We do not accept young people under the age of 18 for social work observation placements on our premises (placements of 1 to 2 weeks), given the mental workload which can be very heavy in our fields of action (homelessness, refugees, young people in difficulty, etc.).
