Caritas Forum is the successor in conference format to the Sozialalmanach, which for 15 years served as an instrument for dialogue with political decision-makers, civil society and business.
The aim of Caritas Forum is to deal with a given topic from a variety of angles, thereby providing a pool of ideas, analyses, experiences and examples from which interested parties can draw.
Caritas Forum takes place every year in May.

„ KANNERAARMUT : (K)EEN THEMA ?"
One child in four is at risk of growing up in poverty in Luxembourg. This means that around 30,000 children face poverty and other deprivations in their daily lives. What is the impact of financial difficulties on all other aspects of children's lives? What is the impact on our society? What can we do to make a lasting improvement to the lives of children growing up in Luxembourg?

23 May from 8.30am to 5pm: Day-long symposium - Centre Jean XXIII - Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
This symposium looks at the theme of "Kanneraarmut - (k)een Thema?" from different angles, offering a wealth of ideas, analyses, experiences and examples from which to draw in order to move Luxembourg society towards greater social justice. We are offering various workshops and presentations on the subject of child poverty.
