HOMES FOR UNACCOMPANIED MINORS

In response to the large number of unaccompanied minors arriving in Luxembourg, Caritas Luxembourg, in partnership with the Office National de l'Enfance, has opened several shelters for them, providing care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

For Caritas Luxembourg, it is important that these children are not left in the emergency accommodation structures for adult applicants for international protection, but are looked after by dedicated staff meeting their specific needs as children. A socio-educational team is on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Caritas Luxembourg currently has four homes: Maarjashaff in Liefrange, Maison St Hubert in Munshausen, Um Selteschfeld in Bridel and Saint Antoine in Luxembourg-City with a capacity of about 150 children.
