Launch of the Caritas Corona-Helpline

Through the Caritas Corona-Helpline, people who find it difficult to buy food, pay their rent, bills and debts and who feel alone with their problems will be able to find support.

Through the Caritas Corona-Helpline, Caritas Luxembourg is setting up a social assistance service for all those who in these moments of crisis have difficulty paying their groceries, rent, bills or debts and who feel alone with their problems. By contacting Caritas Corona-Helpline, people will be listened to, advised, guided through the various aid structures and, if necessary, helped materially and financially, thanks in particular to the generosity of the many donors.

The Caritas Corona-Helpline can be reached by phone 40 21 31 - 999 or via email: helpline@caritas.lu. Support is offered in more than 10 languages. Requests for assistance will be treated confidentially and in accordance with the European regulation on the protection of personal data.

Through this helpline, Caritas Luxembourg wants to help all the people and families who until now have managed to get by in one way or another, but who, because of the sanitary crisis of the Coronavirus and its economic consequences, are no longer able to make ends meet. It is to prevent these people and families from falling permanently into precariousness that Caritas Luxembourg has mobilised all its internal and external forces.
